Twig light ist Stecker, Sockel und Licht zugleich. Jedes twig light lässt sich durch zwei weitere twig lights erweitern. Je mehr zusammengesteckt werden, umso vielfältiger und komplexer sind die Möglichkeiten, Lichtketten, Netze und 3-dimsionale Strukturen zu bilden. Aus immer identischen Teilen erwachsen individuelle und nach Bedarf veränderbare Gebilde. light book ist die zeitgemäße Form der heiligen Schrift. Jede Seite ist reine Erleuchtung und führt durch die Dunkelheit. Light book verwendet die sehr junge Elektrolumineszenz-Technologie, die mit extrem flachen Folien vollflächig Licht abstrahlt. Zum anschalten einfach das Buch öffnen, diE Helligkeit wird durch den Öffnungswinkel bestimmt.

The twig light is simultaneously a jack, a lighting device and a socket extension. Connected to each other, twig lights form organic and flexible 2D and 3D structures. The twig light is a small unit of light that yearns to be connected to its siblings. The twig light likes to build complex structures as well as simple chains – depending on the mood of the day. The light book is a contemporary version of the Holy Scriptures, with each page offering full enlightenment while guiding the reader through darkness. Just open, settle back and enjoy. The light book uses state-of-the-art electroluminescent display technology to illuminate all of its pages. To switch on the light book, just open it. The opening angle controls the brightness of the light.

Design aus Asien ist zurzeit in aller Munde. Die Designausstellung DESIGNCLUSTER zeigt Produktdesign von jungen Gestaltern aus dem Asien-Pazifik Raum und findet im Rahmen der Asia-Pazifik-Wochen 2007 in Berlin vom 14. bis zum 23.September statt.

These days, Asian design is the talk of the town. The design exhibition DESIGNCLUSTER presents product design by young designers from the Asia-Pacific area, and takes place within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Weeks 2007 in Berlin, from September 14 to September 23.
