We are looking forward to hosting the official Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2012. Since 1969 the Design Prize is awarded for excellence in the design field by the Federal Ministry of Economics  and Technology.

The application process runs from March 1 till April 30. For the first time, the nominees will be exhibited at Airport Berlin Tempelhof during the DMY International Design Festival from June 6 – 10. The jury will select the best works within the fields of product and communication design as well as excellent works within the fields of ecological design. The winners of all categories will be announced at the Award Ceremony in Berlin in autumn 2012.
